In the top left, three transparent bowls contain raw sugar, lemon juice, and water, each with its own label. Below, there are sugaring paste products. To the left, sugaring paste is shown melting over stones. To the right, there's a diabetic pain relief salve, rose-infused aloe vera products, 'Rose the Age Away' serum, an assortment of sugar scrubs with their ingredients visible, and open jars filled with ground rose, chamomile, calendula, and lavender herbs.

How do you know when the sugaring paste is ready?

Organic Sugaring paste should be room temperature when ready to use.

If it’s not, it will stick to you and the results will not be what you want. This simple fingerprint test will tell you it’s ready to use. If you dip your finger into the paste and it tries to come out of the container with your finger (sticks to your finger) IT IS NOT ready and room temperature. It’s too warm. Stick it in the fridge for 5-10 minute intervals until you see your fingerprint in the sugar when you dip your finger. As seen here:

When the sugar is applied to the skin, it seeps into the hair follicles. This "lubricates" the hair, which allows the hairs to "glide" out more comfortably and gently.
This is the biggest contributor to the "less pain than waxing" factor. This method also minimizes any redness, irritation, hair breakage and ingrown hairs. All this while simultaneously exfoliating dead skin cells!
