5 remarkable herbal remedies for your custom sugar scrubs.

There's quite a few reasons why you may have ended up on this page, be it via
The Botanical Skin Care Page , or
Either way, I'm glad you are here. That means you are seriously thinking about what goes on your skin and how you can get the skin care benefits that nature provides so abundantly. You are researching, learning and growing in your natural lifestyle choices and I am proud of you!

In my last post, we discussed the ingredients available for
creating your own custom sugar scrub based on your
skin care needs.
If you’re just tuning in, be sure to take a moment to check
the Skin Care Wish List here:

I ask you to do this so that:
#1: You can get a good grasp of what your needs and wants for your skin are and match them with the herbaceous or floral plant that treats or aids those needs .
#2: THEN, visit the previous post:  How to create your custom scrub given the ingredients I have chosen for your choices.
I’ll meet you back here when you’re done.

For instance: Let's say you have an
area of skin that has a tendency for,
let’s say…acne.
Yes the dreaded acne.

At one point in time, I bet every single one of us has had to deal with acne in one form or another in our lifetime at one point, so we can all relate.
(Unlike psoriasis, eczema, and similar skin conditions that we cannot all relate to.)
Let’s say you've got a son who is in his teens, puberty, football team, great kid, but embarrassed in the locker room because of the acne on his back.
Or a daughter who is struggling to accept that she really is beautiful… under the acne on her cheeks, chin, and forehead.
We can consider a lady in her twenties, thirties, even forties who is on birth control. The testosterone in the birth control gives her a hormonal imbalance which is causing acne.

There are many reasons/causes/embarrassing stories!

So, go to the Skin Care Wish List and find the items that match your needs. Let’s do this together.
*tip: I even made a printable Wish List available on the top of the Wish List post if you so choose.
There is a link at the bottom of each page that will lead you back here.
I’ll meet you back here when you are done with the Skin Care Wish List and the Custom Scrub post
If it feels like I’m giving you homework, I apologize. I sincerely hope that you do not feel that way, with me giving you an “assignment” if you will. I truly hope that you take your natural skincare needs seriously and I am trying to help you in that venture in any way that I can. Should you have ANY questions at all, feel free to comment at the end of the posts.

Creating Your Custom Herbal Remedy Sugar Scrub

Use Instructions:
Clean your face using a warm, damp washcloth before using the sugar scrub. While the skin is still wet, massage approximately 2 teaspoons worth of scrub into your hands and massage into your skin using a circular motion. You may add more sugar scrub as you move onto other areas of your body, but make sure to concentrate on rough patches like elbows, knees and feet. Do not apply to areas of broken or infected skin. When done, rinse off using warm water.
Care Instructions:
You may store this rose sugar scrub in its original sealed container in your refrigerator for up to six months. Avoid introducing water into the jar, as this will shorten the life of your scrub. For best results, keep the jar in a cool dry place and scoop only the scrub you are about to use in the shower or sink.
Please do not use (or choose an ingredient of) this product if you are or may be allergic or sensitive to any of the above listed ingredients. Do not expose skin to sun while sugar scrub is on your skin. Always test a small area first. As with all oil-based bath products, please use caution in the shower as it can cause surfaces to become a bit slippery. Make sure you have a bath mat with good traction.
